According to the Mail Tribune, last week three dogs died after being left inside of a truck in Klamath County, Oregon, for over 4 hours.

The tragedy, which claimed the lives of three Rottweilers, took place last Monday in the parking lot of Melitas Restaurant, Motel, and RV Park in Chiloquin – a good Samaritan attempted to save the dogs from the truck, but after being locked in the vehicle for an estimated four hours, it was too late.

The Klamath County Animal Control cited a 65-year-old Eagle Point woman, Dixie Taylor with three counts of animal cruelty .
